Andy Warhol's "The Last Supper" Returns to Milan
30th Anniversary of Artist's Final Major Cycle
Museo del Novecento Hosts Exhibition
Thirty years ago, Andy Warhol's "The Last Supper" made its debut in Milan. To mark the anniversary of this project, Milan's Museo del Novecento is hosting a special exhibition showcasing more than 60 silkscreen paintings and works on paper from the collections of Peter Brant and Gian Enzo Sperone.
The exhibition includes a selection of Warhol's iconic depictions of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, as well as preparatory drawings and experimental works. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore Warhol's interpretation of this timeless subject matter and his unique approach to art.
