75th Anniversary Season Set to Feature New Sprint Events
Formula 1 and the FIA have unveiled the calendar for the 2025 Formula One World Championship, marking the series' 75th anniversary.
The season will kick off with the Australian Grand Prix on March 16 and will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 30. The calendar features a total of 24 races, including six sprint events.
The sprint events will take place in Azerbaijan, Austria, Belgium, Qatar, the United States, and Brazil. These races will feature a shorter format than the traditional races, with drivers competing over a 100km distance instead of the usual 305km.
